The Unique School Book (LSU) is the national application where periodic reports and skill certificates for students, from CP to third grade, are recorded. For staff at the Versailles academy, access to the LSU is through the Arena portal, the platform that centralizes all online services of the National Education. The portal address is id.ac-versailles.fr/arena/.
Security of Academic Identifiers on Arena Versailles
Before detailing the login procedure, a security point deserves particular attention. The Versailles academy strongly advises against memorizing academic identifiers in browsers on shared computers (teachers’ lounge, mobile classrooms). The reason is simple: an open Arena session can give the next user access to the reports of an entire class, as the LSU does not apply a short inactivity timeout.
The official recommendation is to use a personal password manager, such as KeePass or Bitwarden, rather than the browser’s built-in memorization feature. On a shared computer, the Arena and LSU session must be manually closed at the end of each use.
For teachers who wish to log in to LSU Versailles on Arena from a personal device, storing the password in a dedicated manager is preferable to the browser, especially if the phone or computer is shared with other household members.
Identifiers and Authentication on the Arena Portal
Access to the Arena portal of the Versailles academy is based on the identifiers of the academic professional email. These identifiers follow the format [email protected]. The password is the one defined during account activation, or the one chosen after a reset.
Recovering Identifiers in Case of Loss
The recovery procedure goes through the academy’s support service. On the Arena login page, a link allows resetting the password via the backup email address provided when creating the account.
If no backup address has been registered, the recourse is to directly contact the IT service of the institution or the DSDEN of the relevant department. The Versailles academy covers four departments: Yvelines, Essonne, Hauts-de-Seine, and Val-d’Oise.

Accessing the LSU from Arena Versailles Step by Step
Once authenticated on the Arena portal, the interface displays several sections grouping the available services. The LSU is not found in the personal space, but in a section dedicated to educational applications.
- Open the browser and go to id.ac-versailles.fr/arena/
- Enter the identifier (format firstname.lastname) and the academic password, then confirm
- In the menu, locate the section related to student tracking tools and click on the link to the Unique School Book
- Select the school year, then the class, to access the periodic reports
Navigation in the LSU is organized by periods. Each periodic report can be completed, locked, and then sent to families. The locking of a report is irreversible without intervention from the school principal or head of institution.
Logging in from a Smartphone
Since the 2024-2025 school year, the Versailles academy encourages the use of ÉduConnect on mobile devices by teachers. Accessing the LSU via a mobile browser after ÉduConnect authentication is now functional, simplifying access outside the institution.
The process remains the same: open the mobile browser, access the Arena portal, authenticate, and then navigate to the LSU. The display adapts to the screen, although entering complete reports remains more comfortable on a computer.
New LSU Features Accessible via Arena from 2026
The content visible in the LSU after logging in via Arena has recently evolved. Two changes significantly modify what teachers see and can enter.
Interconnection of ADAGE and LSU
Since April 1, 2026, the platforms ADAGE and LSU are interconnected. Teachers can directly transfer the actions of artistic and cultural education (EAC) declared in ADAGE into the LSU for students from CP to CM2. This connection avoids double entry and ensures that the student’s cultural journey is included in their book.
LSU and Brevet Results for Third Grade Students
The LSU now includes the levels obtained in the oral exam of the brevet. This data appears in the end-of-cycle 4 report and is accessible to families via their ÉduConnect access. For the teacher logged in via Arena, this information is visible in the cycle summary tab.

Other Services Accessible from Arena Versailles
The Arena portal is not limited to the LSU. After logging in, several other tools are available in the interface:
- Professional Messaging (Webmail) accessible from the “Personal Space” section
- i-Prof Teacher for career management, in the “My HR File” section
- Portal @RIANE (academic intranet) in the “Resources and Tools” section
- M@gistère for distance training, in the “Training” tab
- Colibris Versailles for HR procedures, via a direct link from “My HR File”
Each service opens a separate session. Closing the LSU tab does not log you out of Arena. To completely exit the session, you must use the logout button of the Arena portal itself, especially on a shared computer.
Access to the LSU via Arena Versailles relies on standard academic identifiers and navigation in a few clicks. Vigilance regarding session closure and the use of a password manager remain the two reflexes to instill, particularly in institutions where computer stations are shared.
